Business number porting in Ireland

You can! This process is called number porting. Your existing number is transferred to a new provider so you can change your business phone plan without changing your number. Customers will be able to keep calling the number they already have saved.

Yes. In most cases, you can port your existing Irish business number to Rinkel, including a business landline number. You will not be able to port a mobile number with Rinkel.

Rinkel can port Irish landline numbers, including local numbers (for example, 01 for Dublin, 021 for Cork) and international numbers. Mobile phone numbers cannot be ported.

Yes. Your number is yours for as long as you like. If you ever want to move to another provider, you can take your number with you, and we won’t charge a release fee.

No. Don't cancel your old contract before porting. Starting the port while your number is still active is what lets it transfer smoothly. Rinkel will contact your current provider for you.
