Please allow up to a week for Rinkel to contact your current communications provider and make the switch. This timeline often depends on your current service provider. During this process, you will still be able to make and take business calls with your existing number, and you won’t lose internet connection or service quality either.
If you’re not happy with Rinkel after 30 days, we’ll give you your money back and work with your new provider of choice to port your number.

Simple! When you’re signing up for Rinkel, there are three options to choose from. Choose ‘move my current number’ and we’ll take care of the rest.
You can keep your business number by requesting that your new business number provider port your old number over to their service. Put simply, they get in touch with your current provider, ask them for your phone number and bring it over to their service. The process is called number porting, and Rinkel does it free of charge.
No, not with Rinkel. We’ll port your existing number for free. However, some telecom companies do charge a fee for number porting—especially when it comes to business numbers and VoIP.
Between 2-5 business days. The length within this bracket depends on your current provider. People will still be able to call you, and you’ll still be able to make calls during the entire porting process.
We can transfer any landline from the UK. We do not transfer mobile phone numbers.
During the number porting process, the old provider and new provider work together to ensure that the phone number is transferred. This usually takes a few days and is free of charge in most cases.
We would be sad to see you go but yes, your number is yours and you can always take it with you.
