Operations Lead (Interim)

Rotterdam 32/40H - May - November 2026

Who are we?

At Rinkel, we make sure entrepreneurs are professionally reachable. Without hassle. The numbers show that our product adds value for every business. We are growing fast! Over the past year, we launched Rinkel in several European countries, AI insights is now available for our users, and we recently started offering fixed telephony as well. We are busy and always moving forward. That is why we could really use your help!

Making sure everything runs smoothly on the front end means that behind the scenes we need strong processes, clear agreements and teams that know what to expect.

During the leave of our Team Operations Lead, we are looking for an experienced interim professional who ensures our operations continue in a stable way. Someone who keeps an overview, brings things together and makes sure projects do not get stuck, but are properly implemented in the organisation.

You work at the intersection of operations, project management, data and security. Not to do everything yourself, but to make sure it is done well.

What you'll be doing?

Operations & team coordination

  • Coordinating the Operations Team (2 developers and 1 Customer Support colleague)
  • Aligning with the CTO and voice engineer in an advisory role
  • Identifying bottlenecks, setting priorities and escalating on time
  • Ensuring calm, overview and clear responsibilities within Operations

Project management & progress

  • Structuring and monitoring ongoing team-wide projects
  • Working with Monday as the project management system for planning and progress
  • Facilitating fixed cross-team syncs and meetings
  • Keeping insight into dependencies between teams and projects
  • Making sure projects are properly embedded in processes and ways of working

Processes, tooling & data

  • Monitoring end-to-end processes between Marketing, Sales and Customer Support
  • Taking ownership of the connection between HubSpot, Intercom and Admin
  • Guarding data definitions and clean data agreements
  • Translating data and insights into clear overview and concrete steering information
  • Quickly finding your way in different tools and ensuring teams use them consistently

Security, privacy & compliance (safeguarding)

  • Point of contact for operational alignment around security and privacy
  • Working closely with the privacy and security officer
  • Ensuring existing ISO27001 processes and agreements are followed
  • Identifying deviations or risks, without starting new ISO initiatives or projects

Legal & terms

  • Making sure projects and process changes take legal frameworks into account
  • Aligning with the privacy and security officer on changes with impact
  • Coordinating with external legal advisors (ICT law) on changes to:
  • terms and conditions
  • privacy policy
  • other legal documents
  • Identifying when legal changes impact processes, tooling or communication

Tools & subscriptions

  • Keeping an overview of tooling and related subscriptions
  • Aligning on renewals or changes where needed
  • No major tooling or contract projects during the interim period

Who are you?

You have:

  • Experience in a SaaS environment (preferably telecom or infrastructure)
  • Experience with project management tools such as Monday
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Affinity with data, processes and tooling
  • You easily find your way in tools such as Intercom and HubSpot
  • Basic knowledge of security, privacy and compliance
  • You work independently, in a structured way and are confident making decisions

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience as an interim professional in a scale-up
  • Basic technical knowledge (without wanting to build everything yourself)
  • Understanding of how Operations and Customer Support work together

Do you recognise yourself in the above? Do you think in possibilities instead of limitations? And are you looking for collaboration, autonomy and the chance to make direct impact? Then this vacancy will definitely appeal to you: read on, get inspired and apply!
