It couldn’t be easier and the service is excellent

Let me start by saying that the setup and the user experience on the software side are great. Even though everything is easy, I still made a mistake myself. I pointed this out, as it wasn’t completely clear on their side either. That can happen. The nice thing is that they solved it for me in just a split second. I was already very satisfied, but after this experience I’m a customer for life.

Product still in early stages

The product is still very much in its early stages. Support responds quickly (which is good), but does not really help further. The app itself does not work well, feels complicated, and many small details are still missing. If you take out a subscription via iDeal, invoices are not paid automatically by direct debit. You have to pay them manually. By the time I found this out, Rinkel had already added debt collection costs to the invoice, which feels very strange.

Rinkel We’re sorry to hear that you experienced the app as complicated and that there was some confusion about the payment. We’d like to explain that when you sign up, payment is done via iDeal and the default payment method is online bank transfer. After that, you can change the payment method in your My Rinkel account to direct debit, where you also need to give permission for automatic payments. This extra step is there to make sure payments are handled safely. Regarding the reminder costs: we have credited these, as you contacted us earlier. Please note that before reminder costs are charged, we always send several emails to remind you about an open payment. Our payment term is 14 days, and if payment is not received after 28 days, reminder costs may apply. We hope you’ve seen that most of these points have now been resolved. We continue to improve our app and service. We’re open to your feedback on what can be better in the Rinkel app, so we can include it in future updates. 😁 You can send this to [email protected] .
