The Chrome browser asks for certain permissions when you open the Webphone. For example, when you open the Webphone for the first time, we ask for your permission to send you notifications and play sounds through Chrome.
In this article we answer the following questions:
How do I invoke the permission form again?
As soon as you open the Webphone, you will get a pop-up, Permissions.
In the pop-up, click on “Allow access to microphone”.
A new message will appear in the top left corner, click on Allow
You will now see a red dot appear in the Webphone tab.
This means this tab has permission to use the microphone.
Once you have given your permission for Microphone Notifications, you are automatically free to use the Webphone.
