How do I add a number or user to call forwarding?

  • Go to voice menu in the app. Select the key you want to assign the number to. Select “Forward caller” and then “Change call forwarding”.

  • Forward to number. In this menu, under “Forwarded to”, enter the correct phone number(s) or choose a user. In this case, when the caller presses “1”, they are forwarded to the number you have selected. Please note that the first number you enter will be called first if you select one by one in the calling method (explained below). You can put the numbers in order by clicking on “Change”. Hold the 3 bars down to shift the numbers.

  • Calling method. If you have entered multiple numbers or users under “Forwarded to”, you can enter which number should be called first, one at a time or simultaneously in the calling method.


How do I forward my calls with a queue?

When you receive several calls at once in a single department, it might be convenient to place the caller in a queue.

  1. Go to the voice menu in the app. Press the key you want to assign the call queue to and select “Change call forwarding”.

  2. On the page, click on the queue and choose a recording you want to play. This recording will be played as soon as the caller is placed in the queue.

  3. Choose the number of seconds for your caller to be on hold (minimum 60 to maximum 1800 seconds).

  4. Under “Music”, choose a tune to play while the caller is on hold.


How do I forward my calls to the answering service?

  1. Go to the voice menu in the My Rinkel app. Select the key you want to assign the number to. Select “Forward caller” and then “Change call forwarding”.

  2. Answering service. In the menu, click on “Answering service”. Choose when you want the answering service to be activated.

  3. Company name. Finally, enter your company name, as this is how the answering service will answer the phone for you.

How do I connect the voice menu to my voicemail?

  1. Go to the voice menu in the app. Select the key you want to assign the voicemail to. Click on “Send caller to voicemail”.

  2. Record your own voicemail message or select an audio recording that you want to set for voicemail.

  3. Tick “Activate menu choice”. After your recording choice, switch on the option “Send caller to voicemail”. Only when you have followed the above steps, should you activate the voice menu. This overrides your previous call forwarding selection.


How do I set the default option?

  1. Go to voice menu in the app. Select the key you want to assign the number to.

  2. Select the default option (bottom of page). When you select the default option, the setting for this key will then be used for all callers who do not make a choice in your voice menu. Please note: you can only select one default option.

  3. Separate key for default options. Do you want to use another key for the default option, because none of your keys has the setting you want? You can! Just add an extra key with the setting you want (e.g. hang up) behind another key you are not using.


What if I can’t pick up?

  1. Go to voice menu in the app. Press the key that you want to assign to the voicemail. Select “Change call forwarding”. This takes you to a new page.

  2. Click on “No answer” (bottom of page): You will then be taken to another page, where you can set one of the three preferences.

  3. Set audio recording: If you choose an option that says “with audio recording”, you will be taken to the menu to choose or record your audio message.
