How do I download WhatsApp Business?

Step 1: Download WhatsApp Business

Step 2: Verify your account

1. Accept the terms and conditions

2. Choose "Use another number"

3. Enter your business number from Rinkel here (without the first 0)

4. Click on “Next”. This will take you to the SMS screen

5. Wait 1 minute until “Call me” turns green, it will be grey until that time

6. Click on “Call me”: you will now receive a call, telling you the code by a computerised voice

   Disclaimer: Before you click on "call me" make sure that you have your greetings disabled. Otherwise WhatsApp's robot will already tell you the code before you can answer the phone.

7. Write down the code, or enter it directly in WhatsApp Business

8. It is linked now, you can start using Whatsapp Business immediately

If you receive an error message the first time, try pressing “Call me” again. Please not that since Whatsapp is an international company, you will receive a call from a +44 number (UK).

Step 3: Set up your company account

Enter your company name and upload a logo or company photo. This immediately enhances your company’s trustworthy and professional image! If you like, you can complete your profile by entering:

• Business hours

• Address and contact details

• Other information

Can I use WhatsApp Business on multiple devices at once?

WhatsApp Business can now be used from 4 different devices, including 4 phones.

With this new feature, your WhatsApp Business account can now be linked to 4 additional phones or computers. This allows you to use WhatsApp Business with multiple colleagues. You do this by going to the WhatsApp Business app on your phone. Open the settings and click on 'connect a device'. You can now activate WhatsApp Business on 4 computers or phones by scanning the QR code.
