How do I set up WhatsApp Business?

Please note: it is not possible to use WhatsApp Business on your landline number during your trial period to prevent fraud. But you can use it when you upgrade to a Rinkel Basic or Rinkel Complete subscription!

Please note: It is not possible to use WhatsApp Business with a 088 number.


How do I download WhatsApp Business?

Step 1: Download WhatsApp Business

Step 2: Verify your account

  1. Accept the terms and conditions

  2. Choose "Use another number"

  3. Enter your landline number here (without the first 0)

  4. Click on “Next”

  5. This will take you to the SMS screen

  6. Wait 1 minute until “Call me” turns green

  7. Click on “Call me”

  8. You will now receive a call, telling you the code

  9. Write down the code, or enter it directly in WhatsApp Business

If you receive an error message the first time, try pressing “Call me” again.

Step 3: Set up your company account

Enter your company name and upload a logo or company photo. This immediately enhances your company’s trustworthy and professional image! If you like, you can complete your profile by entering:

  • Business hours

  • Address and contact details

  • Other information


Can I use WhatsApp Business on multiple devices at once?

WhatsApp Business can unfortunately still only be used on one phone. However, WhatsApp Business is currently experimenting with a beta version. This will allow you to use WhatsApp Business on 4 computers or laptops simultaneously.

So although it’s not possible for several colleagues to use WhatsApp Business on their mobiles, they can all use it on their computers!
