How does the Click To Dial feature work?

With Click To Dial, phone numbers on the internet are recognised immediately, and immediately filled out in the Webphone. Easily start a call right away!

Important: The Click To Dial feature is an addition to your webbrowser, and expands the functionality of the Webphone. This means you need access to the Rinkel Webphone to use this feature. Go to the Webphone.

In this article, we'll discuss what the Rinkel Click To Dial plugin is, and how you install it.

Please note: The Click To Dial-feature only works in Google Chrome, and works best with the latest version of Chrome.


What is Click To Dial?

Click To Dial by Rinkel is a Chrome extension. As soon as you have access to the Rinkel Webphone, you're more than welcome to download it!

After downloading, click on any phone number on a website, and the Webphone opens automatically, with the phone number already entered. The only thing you need to do, is click on the green button to start the call!

Or select any non-clickable phone number, use right-click and select Call with the Rinkel Webphone. That's how you Rinkel!


How do I install Click To Dial?

Firstly, you need a Rinkel subscription.

Next, you need to install the extension. To do so, follow the steps:

  1. Go to the Chrome Webshop

  2. Click on Add to Chrome

  3. Click on Add extension

Tip: Pin the extension, so it's always visible. Click on the puzzle piece in the top right corner, and click the pin behind the Rinkel Webphone plugin.

Be sure to double check whether or not your Chrome browser is updated to the latest version if you run into any issues.
